Great editing app

Been looking for a good picture editing app on the phone and this one sure is on point. The only thing missing is that I can’t access google photos through the app.

Major problems onrush recent version

I use the "healing" tool a lot to remove dust and such, blemishes, or shadows. Looks fine while your in the app, as soon as you save or export your photo from the app, the image looks different where you used the tool, it looks all messed up, and completely different than how it looked while you were editing. Was a great app. Now its so difficult & annoying. I use iPhone 6 iOS 10.3.3

What happened to save?

Great app but with latest update there is no simple way to save back to Photos.

Snapseed is Amazing!

I absolutely love every aspect of this application. All of the additional features add creativity and poise to nearly every image. I once used Enlight; however, now, I cannot fathom paying a subscription any longer to edit images. I do have one request, please add the ability to open images from iPhoto and edit from their application. Thanks.

Excellent photo tool

First of all, I like its handy, effective, I don’t need to import pictures into laptop and use Adobe photoshop. Nowadays, people take pictures with no serious purpose, maybe just for posting on social media. A quick makeover is all its purpose. I used serious photo tools long time ago, often it was very time consuming to accomplish a small task. Now Snapseed provides a lot of practical tools, with newer version, Looks->Last edits saves one time for similar batch processing, Tools->True image->Ambiance is my favorite tool to correct color tones, brightness at one time, Tools->True image->Shadows is also useful to save pictures with sharp contrast. Besides, I found this app is easiest to learn. Just select a sample picture, then apply each tool to examine the outcome, it’s fun!

How can I get previous version?

As noted by others, the previous version gave more control and was more obvious to navigate. Is there a way to get the older version? Id even pay a small price for having that control again.

I Have faith in your listening to your customers

Please bring back the black background option , editing is difficult with the white ....PLEASE

Not optimized for iPhone X

Title says it all.

Vertical Lines

This is one of my absolute favorite apps to edit my pictures with— however, I’ve noticed recently that the app develops vertical lines onto the photo and decreases its clarity. Nothing incredibly noticeable at first, but it’s begun to frustrate me when I’m trying to improve a photo and get this layer of lines that weren’t there before.

Bad update

I used to love this app. After the new update the export function got messed up. The final version of the photo I spent so much time editing is not at all like the one I exported. I tried multiple times with no luck. Please fix this!!!

Great app must have app

Please read my review and if you agree with me for new tools leave a request for them in your review Eww the new UI looks awful I liked the way it was before but still a amazing and Best easy app for photos ever but it needs a 1)highlight&shadow color split toning options 2)HSL option for ppl who like to desaturated and change colors with ease 3)a clone stamp tool add to healing options Im pretty sure a lot of people would love those types of tools added and can you scan qrcodes from photos as well so I can re-add my old filters instead of using another screen bcuz some of us Dnt have another screen to scan the codes Dnt tells me its not possible since google translator app can scan text from photos which is pretty much what Im asking for but for it to scan the qrcodes instead

Go to photo editor

This app is go to when editing photo!

Strange lines in original photo

This is my favorite app! No one can believe my photos come from my iPhone. I use snapseed to really perfect and fine tune. The reason why I am not giving it 5 stars is because a new update is creating very faint vertical lines in the original photo before editing. To give an example, it looks like a photo taken of a picture on a computer screen. The original image (found in the photo album) does not have the lines. It only shows when opened in Snapseed. The lines become even more apparent when using an editing tool. I will give it 5 stars when the lines go away. Other than that, still my favorite editing app.

Update

This is a great app, its very simple to use. However the new interface is such a downgrade, it has such an incomplete look compared to the pre updated version. Very disappointed

Disappointing "Upgrade" to an Old favorite

Snapseed has long been my go to photo editing app. Sad to see it fall victim to the endless homogenizing of photo apps. Theres a reason I used this app and not instagram to edit photos. It was far superior. Now it looks a lot like instagram, only worse! Disappointing, though sadly unsurprising. If I was downloading this app for the first time in its current version thered be a 95% chance Id delete it immediately based on the awful UI alone (which of course used to be a strength of this app). I suppose Ill give it a few more tries since I know it can still produce the edits I want, but if it continues to take twice as long to get the same results Ill be looking elsewhere very soon.

Was a great app!

Very surprised to have a lot of difficulties just to open the app. I even have to reboot my iPad and this is kind of difficult to accept.

Bad Resolution

Saves with a super low resolution, no matter the settings I change, so I’m unable to then have these printed out. Such a shame. Deleting app.

Amazing App! But the New Look ruins it!

Zzz

Frustrating UI!!! Where did dodge/burn go??

I liked the previous version, now I can’t find anything. Where did the dodge/burn go? Where did all the other photographer friendly features go? This UI is very frustrating!!

Snapseed
